STAY COMMITTED TO YOUR HEALTHY LIVING GOALS
Today's Advice
Find balance, ease and strength as Coach Stacy guides you through a standing meditation practice.
The YMCA: More than just a gym
When you're a member of the YMCA, you're a member of a community that believes everyone, regardless of who they are or where they come from, should be able to live their healthiest life possible. A portion of members' dues goes to our charitable work, like financial assistance so those in need can afford a YMCA membership.
Meet Mike, a member from The W. Dale Brougher Foundation YMCA who receives financial assistance, as he tells us about how much being able to be a part of the YMCA means to him!

IMPROVE YOUR BALANCE
Increase your confidence by adding balance poses into your day. Practice with Coach Megs in the video below and then try them:

  • In your kitchen while prepping meals
  • In your bathroom while brushing and drying your hair
  • In your family room while watching a TV show
  • Outside while waiting for your kids to get off the school bus
  • In your yard, while holding the dog leash
  • In your office, between meetings
  • In your bedroom before going to sleep

GO WITH THE FLOW

Small efforts bring great rewards

Isaiah 55:10

"For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater."

My grandfather was an excellent carpenter. He honed his skills, working late into his golden years, perfecting complicated techniques and creating unique and exquisite pieces of furniture. One of the most treasured pieces is a table he made from various woods he gathered as a missionary in Australia. When my grandfather passed away this treasure went to my sister who has cherished and adored this beautiful family heirloom. Shortly after she received the table she came home from vacation to find the table had suffered water damage.
