Winter Classic Shoot -
November 27th 2021
The Winter Classic is always a well attended shoot regardless of the weather. Shooters come out to enjoy the last shoot of the year and a cup of our famous homemade Hot Apple Cider.
Participants and other shooters also share in the joy of Christmas spirit, by being a part of our Annual Christmas toy Drive.
Congratulations to Bob Ferguson with a HOA score of 101/120

Annual Christmas Toy Drive
|
|
This year's toy drive was a huge success!!
We received approximately $3500 worth of toys, cash.
The toys are collected from our members, clients and
the Calgary Fire Fighters, through their annual toy collection.
A huge thank you to Gord and Joanne Robb.
It's become quite a tradition and a way to give back to our community. Thank you to everyone who participated to make this effort so incredible. This year all donations were made to the Carstairs Lions Club for their
2021 Christmas Hamper efforts.

CADENCE IN SHOTGUN SPORTS
AUTHOR: LUTHER CUTTS, HEAD INSTRUCTOR (NSCA LEVEL 3), COMPETITOR
Cadence is a noun used to describe rhythm, beat or measure of events, particularly where there is a pattern or sequence. It is an important concept in music, many of the performing arts as well as the martial arts. It might therefore be surprising to some people that is also an important concept in shooting a shotgun.
In the context of shooting a shotgun, cadence is used to describe the consistency of movement throughout the shot. There is no generally accepted set definition of cadence in shotgun circles, but it is common to think of cadence as a 1-2-3 count.
