On-Campus COVID-19 Testing

We are partnering with a company called MedQure, to assist us with administering COVID-19 tests. MedQure is providing tests for students, and we will conduct a drive-through testing clinic on Friday, January 7 between 9 AM and 2 PM. Please sign up ahead of time for a testing slot so we can prepare accordingly. You may also seek testing on your own through the Fulton County Department of Public Health. We strongly encourage all students to be tested before resuming in-person instruction on January 10th.

Health and Safety Measures

To ensure a safe return to in-person learning, we strongly recommend that all students who are eligible to receive the vaccine do so - data shows that the vaccine is highly effective in lowering the risk of contracting COVID-19, and when breakthrough infections do occur, symptoms are much milder and last for a much shorter period of time.

Data has also shown that 3-ply surgical masks are much more effective than cloth masks for protecting against COVID-19 transmission. As we transition back to the building we do prefer that students and staff wear surgical masks.

Technology Needs

In the event that virtual learning extends beyond Friday, January 7th, we would like to be proactive and plan ahead to address any potential technology needs. If your child is not able to access remote learning from home due to a lack of access to technology, please let us know here. We will offer an opportunity to pick up materials on Friday between 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM if needed. We will do our best to communicate to you ahead of Friday if virtual learning extends beyond January 7th. Please note, for this week students who do not have access to a device can complete the asynchronous assignments at a time/date outside of regular school hours.
