Alaina Danley

Alaina Danley is a Managing Director at Waystone, a global specialist services firm for the asset management industry, where she serves as Chief Revenue Officer and a governance business leader based in Waystone’s Cayman Islands operation. She leads practice guidance on governance and compliance matters and serves as an independent professional director in her personal capacity. Alaina’s practice areas including a broad range of sophisticated private investment funds in varying structures and investment strategies. She has extensive experience in fund-related transaction matters and institutional investor expectations in core governance area such as valuation, service provider agreements, side letter arrangements, compliance and regulatory obligations. Alaina previously worked at Bain Capital, a global private investment firm, in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Director of Operations and Finance for Bain Capital Public Equity (formerly Brookside Capital), she was responsible for oversight of middle and back office operations and financial reporting. Previously, Alaina worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) where she was a responsible for the management and execution of private fund audits. Alaina serves on the Executive Committee of AIMA Cayman Islands and is a member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association. She is also Member of 100 Women in Finance and supports various initiatives in the Cayman Islands community, including Junior Achievement. Alaina participates regularly in speaking engagements within the private fund industry and was featured in 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds 2021 by the Hedge Fund Journal. Alaina is a Registered Director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority and is a Certified Public Accountant. She holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Boston College and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross.
Julie Jack
General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, Durable Capital Partners LP
Julie is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Durable Capital Partners LP (“Durable”). Julie joined Durable in 2019 and she serves as a Director of Durable’s Cayman funds and chairs Durable’s Compliance Committee. Durable invests in early stage growth and durable growth small and mid cap equities across public and private markets. Prior to Durable, Julie spent six years at Chilton Investment Company, LLC (“Chilton”), most recently serving as Managing Director - General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, as well as Chief Compliance Officer of Chilton’s UK affiliate. She also served as a Director of Chilton’s BVI hedge funds, Luxembourg UCITS fund, and U.K. affiliate and chaired Chilton’s Compliance Committee. Prior to Chilton, Julie was an attorney in the Investment Management Group at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP for over 12 years, where she counseled numerous investment advisers and private funds on legal and compliance issues. Julie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, with distinction, from Cornell University where she was a Merrill Presidential Scholar. She also earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a Senior Editor on the Law Review and awarded the Mark E. Lefever Prize for Law & Economics. She is admitted to the Bar in NY, NJ and MD.
Sherri Rossoff
Managing Director, RockCreek
Sherri is a Managing Director at RockCreek, one of the largest women-and diverse-owned global investment firms that invests across all strategies for institutional investors. She has been responsible for many aspects of firm-wide business, serving on the Management Committee and as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Previously, she was senior counsel at the World Bank where she concentrated on asset management and provided technical assistance to central banks. Ms. Rossoff serves on the Global Board of 100 Women in Finance. She has served as the Chair of the Markets Advisory Council of the Council of Institutional Investors. She is on the Board of Sasha Bruce Youthwork, one of the largest providers of services to youth in Washington, DC. Ms. Rossoff earned her law degree from New York University School of Law and her BA in Economics and Political Science, summa cum laude, from Queens College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Ivana Faltysova

Ivana Faltysova is a senior fiduciary professional at Waystone Governance Ltd. She serves as an independent director on a broad range of sophisticated private investment funds with varying structures and strategies. Ivana’s legal background and prior experience in investment management operations together with professional fiduciary experience of more than twelve years offer an excellent complimentary skill set to a well-balanced governing board. Prior to joining Waystone in 2011, Ivana worked as in-house counsel at Horizon21, a Swiss-based investment manager. During her tenure she looked after legal matters of hedge funds, fund of funds and private equity funds with total AUM of US$10+ billion. Ivana relocated to Cayman Islands in 2009 to head the Cayman Islands operations and also served as an in-house fund director. In addition, Ivana held a position of Trust Officer at Royal Trust Corporation of Canada, where she was responsible for discretionary management and administration of a book of estates and trusts. Ivana serves a Co-Chair of Peer Engagement Committee, leads monthly peer engagement meetings for female fiduciaries in Cayman Islands and was inaugural member of 100WF NextGen chapter in Cayman Islands. She is a Registered Director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority and is a member of the Cayman Islands Director Association. Ivana holds Master of Laws degree from Comenius University in Slovakia and qualified as an Accredited Director of the Chartered Secretaries of Canada.
