Q & A with NASA Astronauts on the International Space Station
Join Million Girls Moonshot on January 7 for an exciting start to the new year!

Afterschool programs and youth are invited to a virtual trip to the International Space Station to see and hear Expedition 64 astronauts Kate Rubins and Shannon Walker answer questions from youth around the country. Between noon and 1 p.m. ET on Jan, 7, the astronauts will answer prerecorded questions from aboard the International Space Station. At a special afterschool-hours event, NASA will host a Watch Party at 5 p.m. ET to view the astronaut Q&A from earlier in the day and have scientists and engineers on hand to answer questions from students live!
Boeing Grant to Support New Anti-racism Program, Provide STEM Opportunities for Schools

The Arizona Educational Foundation is the recipient of a $100,000 Boeing grant supporting work in anti-racism and STEM in schools. Boeing is a longtime proponent of STEM education with school-based partnerships throughout Arizona, particularly in Mesa where the company manufactures Apache attack helicopters, according to a release. The $100,000 grant given to the Arizona Educational Foundation is part of a $50 million investment over the next four years to confront racism and build more inclusive opportunities within the communities where Boeing resides.
