A celebration of the gifts received!
Children's Moment
Parents, read over the lesson below and use it to stir conversation as a family!
Today marks the last day of Advent.
The word Advent means "coming" and all season we have been preparing for Jesus to come into the world! When Jesus came he brought with him Hope, Peace, Joy and Love. and over the last several weeks we have learned about those gifts and how we can share them with others.

Today we light the Christ candle.
The white candle of your wreath represents the true Light come into the world and
is to be placed in the center of your wreath.

What are the special traditions you and your family have for celebrating Christmas? Which is your favorite?

Prayer
Dear God, Thank you for the gift of Jesus and the hope, peace, joy and love he brought to our world. Amen.

Member Care Corner
So many are celebrating Christmas this year in a different way. For some this is a welcomed opportunity for new traditions and calm. For others who are more isolated, they may be feeling loneliness and missed family time. Consider reaching out to those in our community who may be alone today and tomorrow, through a phone call or special porch delivery.
If you know of any member concerns or needs, please email Jim.
