It happens. Kids for get their snacks, so they sneak to school with a bag of chips for snack instead of something that will fill their bellies and fuel their brains.
When this happens, we would like to be able to provide those kids with a healthy snack so we can get back to the important work of learning!
Our health room is accepting donations of healthy snacks to pass out when these situations arise. If you would like to contribute a box of pre-packaged healthy snacks, we would greatly appreciate it!

Blessings in a Backpack 4K!
|
|
On your mark, get set…GO! The Waukesha County Bolt 4 Blessings 4K Challenge is a fun, virtual physical fitness challenge the whole team can enjoy. Just count your steps/miles on a treadmill, your walk-the-dog hike, run, walk, or whatever gets you MOVING! This virtual event is scheduled for a 10-day timeframe from May 15 through May 25 to give everyone ample time to complete their unique version of a 4K. You can hop, skip, jump, run or roll your way to 4K!
You might be wondering why 4 kilometers and a fee ending in $4. The number 4 is special to the Blessings in a Backpack mission. Just $4 helps feed one child in Waukesha County for a weekend. The family registration fee of $130 feeds a child over the weekend for an entire school year. For less than a cup of coffee at your favorite coffee shop, you can help feed a child over the weekend or for an entire school year. So…
- Grab your family and friends!
- Head out to your favorite park or trail!
- Or hop on that Peleton, run, walk, skip, step, or roll your way to 4K!
