We are thrilled to extend an invitation to all members of ISBNPA, ensuring a potential attendance of over 1200 individuals. The XChange presents a remarkable opportunity to reconnect with colleagues from the Uppsala ISBNPA2023 meeting and expand your professional network. Additionally, you'll have the chance to stay up-to-date with groundbreaking research in the fields of behavioral nutrition and physical activity.


All the oral and on-demand session videos are readily available, allowing you to watch them in advance and begin interacting with the presenters. In addition, you have the option to arrange small group meetings or reach out to any member of the ISBNPA community to start networking and maximize the opportunities provided by the XChange.

ISBNPA 2024 Call for Abstracts and Symposia is Open

ISBNPA never stops...


We are excited to announce that we are already making preparations for the in-person meeting scheduled for May 20-23, 2024 in Omaha, US.


The central theme of this conference is "Policies, Systems, and Environments Towards Health Equity." We are in the process of curating an exceptional lineup of keynote speakers who will delve into this important topic.


We strongly encourage you to actively participate in the ISBNPA 2024 conference by submitting your best research. The call for abstracts and symposia is now open [HERE], and we kindly request that you adhere to the following deadlines:


- October 30 for symposia submissions

- December 4 for oral presentations

Nominations for the 2024 ISBNPA Executive Committee Elections

We have several openings for the 2024 election. You can nominate any ISBNPA member or present a self-nomination.

The available positions are:

- President-elect (term starts in June 2024, then the President term is from June 2025-2027 )  

- Treasurer-elect (term starts in June 2024, then the Treasurer term is from June 2025-2028)  

- ECR representative (term runs from June 2024-2026)  

- Student representative (term runs from June 2024-2026)  

- Two members-at-large (term runs from June 2024-2027)


The deadline for the nominations is October 20, 2023.

Want to help shape the future of NESI? The NESI committee are looking for new members to join our workshop/webinar and communications subcommittees. If you are interested in these roles, please email us your application by Friday, October 6 and include:


  • A 1-page CV
  • A short (~150 word) description of why you want to join the NESI committee, including which subcommittee you would be interested in joining
  • A 30 second audio or video clip describing why you would be a good addition to the team (optional)
