REV. SALLY FRITSCHE
St. Patrick famously compared the Trinitarian God to a three-leaf shamrock – how might we as UUs answer him today with our own understandings of the divine and the natural world? Join us this Sunday to celebrate the Spring Equinox and embrace the vivid diversity of UU belief with the vibrant poetic language of the Earth.

REV. FLORENCE CAPLOW
Each year for our UUCUC auction one of the items is the privilege of choosing a topic for a sermon. Last year Kathleen Robbins had the winning bid, and this topic, on inequality, is her chosen one. We all know that inequality is increasing in our nation and around the world. What does it mean for us? How can we respond? What are the ethical and moral dimensions of inequality? Come watch Rev. Caplow wrestle with these thorny questions.
Do you want her to speak on a particular topic next year? Make a bid at our April auction!

Please consider donating to the Little Free Pantries run by Julie Laut and AJ Herzog, which they have kept active daily since late spring. In order to address increased and unique needs this winter, they have created an Amazon wish list. All items will be delivered to Julie's house and shared between the two pantries. Donations of all items will continue to be accepted as usual at both locations, if you want to bring them in person.
Thank you for your support and generosity ~ Julie and AJ

From Pamela Van Wyk: Such sadness and gratitude for the gentle death of Nick, my wonderful yellow lab, after he was diagnosed with a highly aggressive malignant cancer.
Nick was a very good dog. He was fiercely loved and is terribly missed.
From Millie Davis: This week because we are three are fully vaccinated, I hugged my daughter and granddaughter!! So sweet after a year of waiting!
From Jerry Frye: Shout-out to Julie Laut and RJP for hosting and organizing a fun time for Trivia last night.
From Beth Simpson: Joy that I’ve received my second COVID vaccine and can begin believing I will actually be able to go to visit my family in Massachusetts with safety for all of us.
From Chris Hannauer: A joy for my sister Lee, who yesterday underwent a successful emergency abdominal surgery, the only kind of emergency abdominal surgery you want to have. From the tone of her texts you'd think she stubbed her toe. That's my sister!
Please send your joys or sorrows to joysandsorrows@uucuc.org any time before the Joys and Sorrows portion of the service. They will be read aloud.
