Good Friday (April 15)
6-7 am - Prayer Watch in Stoney Chapel (In-person only)
The watch is for those who want to pray and wait with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane prior to his arrest on Good Friday.

7 am and Noon - Stations of the Cross
The Stations of the Cross that hang in the nave of St. Mark's during Lent are original wood block prints created by St. Mark's member Charlie Aldrich.

A second set of stations, more abstract in nature, were created by St. Mark's members Marcel & Stephanie Varoz for Holy Week 2022. Marcel painted with his feet as he contemplated the footsteps of the Passion of Christ, and then Stephanie cut them out and assembled them into crosses.
We invite you to pray the Stations of the Cross as part of your personal Holy Week Journey, in person at St. Mark's at 7AM and 12PM on Good Friday, or online at any time using the prayers, images, and recordings here.

7 pm—Traditional Good Friday Liturgy. (Hybrid)
Saturday (April 16): Help Prepare the Church for Easter
Starting at 9:00 a.m.
After the liturgy of Holy Saturday, we welcome all to join in with helping us get the church ready for Easter, such as vacuuming, general cleaning, polishing silver, weeding around the grounds, picking up outside, and decorating the Parish Hall for the Great Vigil. More hands make the work go faster. Please bring your weeding gloves, vacuums, and dusters with you.
Saturday Evening (April 16): The Great Vigil of Easter
You're joyfully invited to The Great Vigil of Easter!
Saturday, April 16th - Starting at 8:00 PM
Begins outside in the Fish Garden (grassy area outside of the church).

"Dear friends in Christ: On this most holy night, in which our Lord Jesus passed over from death to life, the Church invites her members, dispersed throughout the world, to gather in vigil and prayer."
--BCP p. 285

8PM - This powerful liturgy includes the New Fire,
Exsultet, Salvation History, Baptisms, the
Proclamation of the Resurrection, and the first
Eucharist of Easter.
*If you have a bell, bring it*

10PM - Agape Feast Potluck & Dance.

Bring a friend, a thirst for divine mystery & something delicious to share.
Resurrection Party Sunday (April 17): Egg Hunt & Cupcake Palooza
All youth are invited to join the St. Mark’s Easter Egg Hunt this Sunday. We will meet at the Fish Garden (grassy area outside the church) around 11:15. Bring a basket or other items to carry all your eggs. We will have extra baskets just in case you forget one.

Also: Many have signed up to bring cupcakes. This is wonderful! But we still need some Coffee Hour, ready-to-serve staples, such as muffins, bagels, cookies, breakfast breads, donuts, pinwheels, breakfast/granola bars, unpeeled fruit, etc. So, if you're not already bringing cupcakes, please consider bringing something nutritious for our Resurrection Party.
