Hurricane Ian & Box Office Update
Dear North Port Symphony Patrons, Musicians, and Supporters,

Our beautiful city of North Port has suffered tremendous damage due to the effects of Hurricane Ian. Many North Port citizens still lack power, water, or cell phone signal. Mass flooding has delayed the recovery of these essential utilities and forced many families to be evacuated from their homes via airboats by the National Guard and North Port Police.

The North Port Performing Arts Center sustained damage from the storm. School campuses in Sarasota County are closed until further notice. Flooding has caused massive damage to the city's infrastructure..

Our thoughts are with our patrons and musicians located in neighboring cities of Sarasota, Venice, Port Charlotte, Rotonda, Englewood, Punta Gorda, and Arcadia as they also have their fair share of hardships due to Hurricane Ian.

Most of all, we cannot ignore the devastation in Fort Myers and Naples. If you are from this area, we hope you are safe and healthy and have the resources necessary to get through this challenging time.

At this time, concerts for the North Port Symphony are still scheduled to go as planned starting on November 13. It is possible that future damage assessments may delay our first concert. We will keep you updated as soon as we have information.

Tickets are still available to purchase online at www.NorthPortSymphony.com. The physical Box Office will remain closed until further notice, however, you may place an order by phone at our temporary Box Office phone number at 941-237-0124 or email nppaatickets@gmail.com with questions.

If need to do a wellness check on a loved one in North Port or if you are a part-time resident looking to get information about your home, please call 941-429-7000 to be connected to someone who can get you more information.
