Greetings Friends,
Happy New Year--MAKE 2022 Your BEST DRIVEN Year Ever!
Whatever your goals and purposes this year, be D.R.I.V.E.N. (Dedicated,
Resourceful, Have Integrity, Vision, Put forth much Effort, and Never give up). In everything give praise, forge onward, and keep the faith.
Never give up on God--He is in charge. He may not come when YOU think He should; He is on time--in His time.
What have you been up to this last year--Successes, triumphs, and celebrations--as well as challenges, adversities, and setbacks?
I've been quite busy this year: Moving to Jacksonville; congratulating my older daughter, Charrell, on her job promotion as well as the job promotion of my son, Wayne; watching my younger granddaughter, Reagan, graduate from middle school and enter high school (Douglas Anderson School of the Arts--DASOTA); witnessing my older granddaughter, Cameron, graduate from high school (DASOTA) and head off to college (Texas State Univ); Launching my DRIVEN Store on my website with my brand d2S (DRIVEN2SUCCEED) Motivational Merchandise; and finishing two anthologies: “The Power of Sisterhood: Women Helping Women to Connect” and “Think Pink: Success Stories from Women who Launched Businesses and Changed Lives."
Additionally, it was my great honor being selected as "Covergirl" for the November issue of the OWN It Magazine with a featured article and three LIVE Interview, and an in-person interview in JAX with Marissa Bloedoorh, Editor-in-Chief, OWN It Magazine; and Celebrating the 50th Birthdays of my younger daughter, Cheryl, and my son-in-law, Sean, as well as his retirement as a Special Agent for the Dept of Labor (Thank you for your service, Sean).
There was a minor setback with my surgery, but in the end, it was for the best. It improved my performance and mobility on my left side. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes.
Stay DRIVEN TO SUCCEED and encourage all of those close to you to be DRIVEN as well. MAKE this the year you get started on the new goal you've been procrastinating to do.
It's not too late to give a gift to that special loved one for a great cause (Partial proceeds benefit the Aunt Hattie Scholarship Fund at Coppin State University to help pay for the college expenses of Aunt Hattie's former foster young men and other foster youth).
