Message from Magnus
As we find ourselves in the middle of the holiday season with Thanksgiving in the rearview mirror, I hope you spent the past week surrounded by your favorite people (and possibly eating too much food). In that spirit, I want to thank you for making me feel welcome to the UCI Samueli School of Engineering and for a very productive and exciting fall (as clearly displayed in this month's newsletter) as the Stacey Nicholas Dean of Engineering. I am also thankful that we have managed to return safely to campus. With new challenges on the horizon, we will continue to do everything in our power to provide a meaningful in-person experience for our students while staying safe.

Best,
Magnus Egerstedt, Ph.D.
