Cyber Security Threats are on the Rise
Protect yourself and your personal data in a few easy steps:
Use a password manager (we like LastPass, which will generate new passwords and securely store them in one place, but there are many to choose from). Be sure to change your passwords on a regular basis using a password generator. Authenticator Apps such as Microsoft Authenticator are a useful way to keep temporary passwords for your main accounts on your phone so you can login anywhere.
Cyberattacks often target vulnerabilities in older applications. If you receive an alert about an urgent security update, install it immediately.
Phishing attacks are on the rise. Carefully review any messages you receive, double-check the sender's email address, and don't blindly accept Multi-Factor Authentication requests.
Speaking of Multi-Factor Authentication, use it! This additional layer of security ensures that you are the only person accessing your accounts. You can add Multi-Factor Authentication to every personal account through security settings.
