Glen Ellyn's Featured Family Feasts

Feed Your Entire Family Every Day This February withGlen Ellyn’s Featured Family Feasts,” a restaurant meal program that will offer a calendar of complete dinners from local restaurants that will feed a family of 4- 6. Each day of February will feature a different meal from a Glen Ellyn restaurant. The goal is to offer a convenient option for area families, expose residents to expanded dining options as well as create new business for local restaurants. Individual meals are available as well!

Residents are encouraged to drop off much-needed pantry donations for the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry when they pick up their meal at each restaurant. Look for the labeled Food Pantry bin. Every day is an opportunity to donate a can good!
Click below for an Interactive Calendar
Restaurants in downtown Glen Ellyn as well as the Roosevelt Road corridor will be included in the program. Many offer delivery and curbside pickup. “Glen Ellyn has such a wide variety of restaurants and we’d love to help local families discover new favorites,” said Dawn Smith, Glen Ellyn resident and Executive Director of the Chamber. “Plus, this gives a boost of business to our restaurants that have been hard hit by the pandemic with the added benefit of giving back to those facing hunger.”

“We are thrilled to once again partner with the Chamber of Commerce,” said Laura Glaza, Executive Director of the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry and also a resident. “We see this as a true win-win for the community with the chance to enjoy a dinner from a local restaurant and help our neighbors.” The Pantry website and Facebook pages post an updated list of most needed items each week, and the website. The Food Pantry website also has information about hosting food drives
Share the Love of Glen Ellyn this February

This February, the community is SHARING the LOVE to Glen Ellyn. The Share the Love event features 50 heart-shaped wreaths, each sponsored and decorated by a local business, scout troop or non-profit. Each wreath will showcase Glen Ellyn pride and be hung on light poles throughout the entire month of February. The wreaths will feature a theme in support of “Share the Love”. We hope this brings many to Glen Ellyn in a safe way to dine and shop local while sharing the LOVE.
We invite all to come to Glen Ellyn to see these sweet homemade hearts while shopping and dining. #Shop&DineGlen Ellyn!
