Flipping into the Holiday Season with Two Inspiring Nights

Scott Hamilton and the CARES team were thrilled to present two incredible skating events in two iconic cities….Nashville and Boston….to help raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

These unique events offered a one-of-a-kind experience for the audience, but even more so for the local amateur skaters that performed alongside some of the most recognized and accomplished elite skaters. It isn’t often that aspiring athletes have the chance to meet, let alone perform, with their idols. In Nashville, the skaters also performed to live music from some of Nashville’s most popular artists. After each show, Scott hosted a gala dinner where guests met, mingled and had dinner with the ice-skating legends. While these two events were a unique and memorable experience, the most important aspect is that all the funds raised will support lifesaving cancer research and cancer support services.

In these two cities filled with sports and music icons, these events are so unique because local Boston and Nashville amateur figure skaters had the opportunity to skate alongside iconic skating legends. Olympic, World, National Champions and a social media sensation performed in each event and supported Scott in his effort to transform the future of cancer. Local Boston and Nashville skaters had the opportunity to meet and skate with their heroes in a once in a lifetime performance. These events bring together athleticism, passion and compassion embodying the ice and music community coming together to make a difference for those in need.

“Everyone will find a connection in this story that will inspire them to stay in the game because that is the only way to win”. – Scott Hamilton
Honor Someone Special This Holiday
What were you doing in 1984? Scott Hamilton won an Olympic Gold Medal and began a herculean journey to honor his mother who died of cancer. We might not be able to win a gold medal, but all of us can honor someone we love and help transform the future of cancer by donating $19.84 a month to help fund innovative cancer research that is dedicated to sparing the patient the harm of traditional treatments. Please help us provide hope this holiday to cancer patients everywhere.
