BeYou! Back to School BBQ & Foam Party

BeYou! is back! Come join us for our first event of the fall downtown! We will be grilling out, seeing old friends and making new ones, playing fun games covered in foam, and worshipping together! Make sure to dress appropriately for getting wet and bring a towel!

Elementary Sunday School

Pre-k - 5th Grade

"Beyond Sunday Mornings"

Join us for our Fall Elementary Sunday School series as we learn how to move "Beyond Sunday Mornings" in our lives with God. Throughout this series, children will be invited to look for God out in the world, and to use the teachings of Jesus that we hear on Sunday mornings in their lives. We will cover topics such as "where God lives," "how God is at work," "what God asks of me," and more through the use of storytelling, crafts, games, and activities. Each week your children will leave with car ride questions and a grace to use at dinner that has to do with the theme of the week to further push the idea of moving "beyond sunday mornings." This group meets in the multipurpose room!

Youth Sunday School

6th - 12th Grade

"Disciples & Dragons"

For our Youth Sunday School this Fall we will be using a curriculum written by Episcopal Priest, Fr. Joe Kennedy. This curriculum is done in the style of the popular role playing game "Dungeons & Dragons." In Fr. Joe's version, our youth will get to role play through different bible stories as if they were inside the story. This will give our teens a unique way to interact with old stories that is engaging, imaginative, and brings them to life in a new way. We will close each session together by reading the original story and seeing what we have learned from it. We are continuing to build our team of leaders for this adventure! If you are familiar with D&D and might be interested in helping facilitate some sessions, please let Owen know! This group meets in the high school youth room!

St. Mike's @ The Switchbacks!

Saturday, September 23

Game Starts @ 6:00 PM

St. Mike's is headed to a Switchbacks game! Come join us for a Saturday night filled with great soccer, awesome fellowship, and loads of fun!

The CO Springs Switchbacks are our local professional soccer team that plays in the USL Championship league. Tickets for this game are $20 a person. You are invited to pay online or bring a check by church with the memo line "Switchbacks Game". Scholarships are available.

Trailblazers: Fall High School Retreat

Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp

High Schoolers are invited to join together for our 2023 Fall Retreat! "Trailblazers" was the theme chosen by our youth council, and will shape our weekend as we dive into conversation about who were trailblazers for us in our lives, and how we can be trailblazers for those who come behind us. Activities will include time spent at an alpine lake, adventures on Rainbow Trail's team ropes course, and more! Registration coming soon.



Middle Schoolers! Your fall retreat opportunity will be November 10-12. More details to come soon!
