A MESSAGE FROM MAYOR KLING
Keep up the good work, Nampa!
As the below chart from Southwest District Health reflects, Nampa's 7-day moving average is currently 24 confirmed or probable cases per day (the highest point on the graph was 125/day). Some may remember a 'target number' was no more than 10 cases per 7-day moving average, so we're definitely headed in the right direction! The decrease in COVID-19 cases has been welcome relief - especially to our health care partners who have been working tirelessly for almost a year now in response to the coronavirus. While vaccine demand exceeds the current supply, it's important to continue doing our part to slow the spread and to keep being kind to one another.

A few reminders: Please submit letters or materials for our 2020 Time Capsule by the end of next week! Also, we currently have three different surveys for our public to provide feedback (links below). Please know your voice does matter and we would love to hear from you!
-Mayor Debbie Kling
ONLY A FEW MORE DAYS TO SUBMIT MATERIALS FOR 2020 TIME CAPSULE!
In order to capture memories from 2020, we have decided to create a time capsule. We would like to include memories from our community, residents of all ages, as well members of our business and faith community. We're hoping to collect a great assortment of letters (ane a few small memorable items) before February 16, 2021. We hope to bury the time capsule in late February. WATCH A SHORT VIDEO FROM MAYOR KLING BELOW. For questions or to make suggestions, please email mayor@cityofnampa.us or call (208) 468-5401.

PLEASE MAIL YOUR LETTER FOR THE 2020 TIME CAPSULE TO:
Office of the Mayor, 411 3rd Street South, Nampa ID 83651.
YOUR FEEDBACK MATTERS!
NAMPA'S COMMUNITY SURVEY
Nampa's annual community survey will close at the end of this month. We currently have just under 800 responses and NEED YOUR HELP to reach our goal of 2,000 responses. With a population of over 100,000 people, we'd love to capture feedback from as many of our citizens as possible. Thank you for taking a few minutes to share your feedback and help shape Nampa's future!
FUTURE DOG PARK - SURVEY
With a growing community, the City of Nampa is planning the design and construction of a second dog park. The future dog park will be located on Smith Ave. between Midway Road and Middleton Road.

The funding for the Dog Park comes from Park Impact Fees and construction for the project is anticipated to begin in the Summer/Fall of 2021.

Please take the survey by Feb. 8.
NAMPA'S HOUSING SURVEY
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Entitlement program was established in 1974 and helps cities in the Treasure Valley develop viable communities by creating suitable living environments, expanding economic opportunities, and providing decent housing for low to moderate income individuals. In an attempt to better understand the current or potential barriers to safe affordable housing, we are asking Nampa residents to take a few moments and complete this anonymous survey.
