A weekly e-newsletter from JFS of Middlesex County
JFS is a non-profit social services agency serving all members of the community from all backgrounds. Your generous support enables us to provide crucial programs for those in need.
There’s Still Time to Make a Difference This Passover
It’s not too late to help a local family in need celebrate Passover. Your support makes a difference – we’ve already sent out Passover gift cards to more than 400 in need of Passover assistance but we still have others waiting for help.

Listen to one recipient, Mrs. K, share her heartfelt gratitude for the much-needed help and best wishes for a peaceful, enjoyable Passover.

"I appreciate it very much --it was a help" - Mrs. K.

On behalf of our JFS staff and board, we thank you for your support and wish you and your families a zissen Pesach and Happy Easter.

There is still time to help a family in need this Passover. Donate online and indicate “Passover Drive" or call 732-777-1940 for assistance.
Supporting Our Clients with Dignity and Care
Asking for help can be an uncomfortable and challenging task especially when a person is going through a difficult time in their life. JFS Kosher Food Pantries offer more than healthy food for individuals and families in need, we treat our clients with dignity and care as they navigate their challenges.

For Ms. M, when she lost her job and began having difficulty purchasing groceries, she was anxious about seeking support. To help meet her most basic yet essential need--food--Mrs. M signed up for food assistance at JFS.

She notes each visit has been positive: "I'm always met with dignity. JFS' staff are friendly and very supportive." As Ms. M continues her job search, she is comforted to know JFS can help.

While JFS Kosher Food Pantries are closed from 4/15/2022 to 4/25/2022 in observance of Passover, our office continues to answer calls for support to feed families of all backgrounds. To learn more about how you can donate food items, call 732-777-1940 or donate online.
Celebrating Her Bat Mitzvah
With the Gift of Food
With the encouragement and support of her parents, Ari and Sara Welner, Yael celebrated her Bat Mitzvah with a focus to give back to make a difference within her community.

She volunteered her time and effort to run a food drive benefitting JFS' Kosher Food Pantries. Her generous heart and spirit of giving is truly appreciated, especially as she comes from a family of JFS supporters that includes her mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Thank you Yael for your support and kindness. We wish you success in your future endeavors!
