Matthews Muliner Playground Clean-Up & Daffodil Bulbs Planting
|
|
On a sunny Saturday morning on November 12, 2021, the MPBID, in partnership with NYPD 49th Precinct Explorers and Partnerships for Parks came out to do a clean up at Matthews Muliner Playground. We thank so much to the youth of NYPD 49 Precinct Explorers team led by Det. Michelle Fernandez and to all community volunteers - Matt, John, Ruth Marshall for coming out and helping us clean up, rake leaves and plant daffodil bulbs! The New Yorkers for Parks #daffodilproject is the largest City-wide living memorial to 9/11. We also thank Councilwoman-elect Marjorie Velazquez for coming to support this amazing Morris Park community effort!
