Each Championship will be of equal weight and status.

US National Championships

  • The US National Championships will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center in Arizona on July 5 – 9, 2021.
  • A new syllabus for the USA event will be developed and forwarded to teachers shortly.
  • Hotel information will be released in the near future.
  • Open ONLY to dancers who, based upon residency, are eligible to participate in one of the five USA Oireachtaisí.

Canadian National Championships

  • Dates and location information for the Canadian National Championships will be shared as soon as details are confirmed. The event will be held no later than December 2021.
  • Open ONLY to dancers who, based upon residency, are eligible to participate in one of the two Canadian Oireachtaisí.

We look forward to a time in the future when all of North America can join together, but until then we share in the excitement of these TWO new, separate WORLD QUALIFYING championships!
