From President Frank H. Wu:

It is with a great deal of excitement that I look forward to the Fall 2021 semester. Since I joined Queens College just over a year ago, the campus has been mostly closed, and though I had the opportunity to meet many terrific members of our community by virtual means, I have only met a few of you face to face. I am excited by how this is changing, thanks especially to the protection offered by vaccines.

Of course, reopening must be done with caution, and I know many in our community have concerns. That is why I will be hosting virtual listening sessions and briefings later this month for your participation. During the listening sessions on Thursday, July 22 at 1:30 pm and Monday, July 26 at 4 pm, you will have an opportunity to share your thoughts and concerns. At the briefings on Thursday, July 29 at 6 pm and Wednesday, August 4 at 6 pm, I and other members of the administration will share specifics of the reopening plan.

RSVP for the listening sessions at https://bit.ly/3x7coTo. Please register by 5 pm the day before the session you would like to attend. A Zoom link will be emailed to those registered the morning of the listening session.

RSVP for the briefings at https://bit.ly/2T7wHBr. Please register by 5 pm the day before the briefing you would like to attend. A Zoom link will be emailed to those registered the morning of the briefing.

I hope to see you at one of the meetings. Please check your email for notice of future listening sessions and briefings.
