Letter from the Co-Founders:

"Grateful"

Six years ago, we took a leap of faith and launched CTI. It was a leap of faith because while we knew what we wanted to accomplish, we knew we had to rely on God's grace and guidance if we wanted to succeed. "Grateful" best encompasses how we feel when looking back throughout this humbling journey. Grateful for every person we have encountered from day one. Grateful for the support we have received from the transplant community. Grateful for the amazing foundations we work with who believe in what we do and support CTI's needs. Grateful for meeting the families we serve, the children who are in need of a second chance at life, and in most cases seeing the child receive that second chance and begin doing the things kids are supposed to do. And if you are reading this, please know how grateful we are for you. You have made an impact on CTI and the families we are blessed to serve. We say this over and over, but it's so true - nothing we do could happen without your support. Thank you for joining us on this journey, we can't wait to see what the next 6 years will bring.

CTI FAMILIES UPDATE

What a great year 2022 has been for our hospitality program, as we served 21 families from as far away as Puerto Rico and Iowa to our neighboring states of Oklahoma, Mississippi and Louisiana, as well as many families from all over our great state. Our 2 bedroom/2 bath apartments gave these families a place to "Rest, Relax & Recover" and a place to call home while away from home.

These are some of the sweet faces of the families we are currently serving ~ {R to L, Top to Bottom}

~ Avery received a liver and was just released to go home to Lubbock

~ Roman is waiting on his gift of life, a new heart

~ Penny received a new heart

~ Johnn, in the center, received a liver

~ Bo, received a pair of new lungs

~ Katie, new lungs recipient

Thank you to all of you who support our mission to come alongside these families on their transplant journeys!
