JANUARY 2021 EDITION
Rowan University Receives ICSB Resiliency Awards
Rowan University was recognized by the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) during their 2020 Resiliency Awards Ceremony with multiple awards.

Rowan tied for First Place as the 2020 Most Active ICSB Knowledge Hub. This recognition is largely a result of two efforts. The first being connecting and engaging Rowan's Think Like an Entrepreneur Summer Academy for high school students with the ICSB Global Network. And, second, RCIE's cross-pollination and openness to a global audience for our Women's Entrepreneurship Week events.
Dr. Eric Liguori, Rohrer Chair of Entrepreneurship and Executive Director of the RCIE, was lead author in an article that ICSB recognized as Best Paper of the Year. Another article that Dr. Liguori lead-authored, titled Strategies for small business; Surviving and thriving in the era of COVID-19, was recognized as Most Downloaded Paper of 2020 with an estimated 7,500 downloads in about six months.

These awards reinforce the work we continue to do to foster an inclusive ecosystem, facilitate access, and create opportunity. RCIE recognizes Jessica Vattima, Outreach & Events Associate, for her outstanding representation of Rowan University as an ICSB KHub Ambassador and Dr. Michael Dominik, Lecturer in the Rohrer College of Business, for his work in leading the Think Like an Entrepreneur Summer Academy.
