|
|
April 21-24, 2022
Thursday, Friday & Saturday at 5PM and Sunday at 1PM
A Parable of Domination & Resilience from the Foothills of Appalachia.
The threat of another century of fossil fuel extraction in Appalachia arrived directly on our doorstep when a company “land man” came to Clear Creek offering a lease for mineral rights to the place that we and many others call home. The character and story of Ezell was born in that moment.
Ezell is an award-winning outdoor eco-cultural theater, music & meal experience presented by Clear Creek Creative with support from the Loyal Jones Appalachian Center & Berea College Forestry Outreach Center. Tickets are by donation and all proceeds will benefit the work of Grow Appalachia, an organization committed to creating healthy, resilient and economically viable food systems in Appalachia. Tickets are available via clearcreekcreative.net/ezell.
