Semester 2 Study Hall Changes
Beginning January 19, 2022 (Second Semester), there will be some slight modifications for study hall attendance. While every student with a free period is still assigned a study hall, students will now be able to check-in at any one of the following locations:
  • Designated Study Hall location* (on your schedule)
  • Library
  • ARC
  • Makerspace

*The designated study hall location will serve as a quiet space for students to study (individually or in small groups) and receive tutoring and support from our study hall staff members - the room # of your designated study hall can be found on each student's 2nd-semester schedule.

Attendance Procedures
For each of the locations listed above, students will need to scan their ID upon entering the space. Student attendance will automatically be taken for the time and location that they sign in. If a student decides to use the library, ARC, or Makerspace during their study hall period, they DO NOT need to check-in at their designated study hall location before going to these spaces.

Students with New Schedules & Exemption from Study Hall
Students who have new schedules for Semester 2 and now have 1st or 3rd (3rd on 12 days) or 8th or 6th (6th on 78 days), should have their parent/guardian fill out our Study Hall Exemption Form to provide consent to arrive "late" to school or leave "early" rather than attend study hall. Students do not need to fill out the form again if their schedule has not changed and they filled it out earlier this year.
