Futsal is Coming to FC Richmond

Get ready for FC Richmond Travel Team Futsal! We are excited to be offering futsal for U9 through U14 FC Richmond travel team players this winter! Futsal is a FUN, fast paced game that provides technical and tactical challenges that develop a youth player better than any other indoor format, and the benefits are transferable to the outdoor game. Futsal provides more touches on the ball, and more opportunities to develop footwork. Futsal is played indoors on a hard surface with a futsal ball. More than anything, Futsal is FUN!

FC Richmond Futsal teams will compete in the Futsal RVA league on weekends beginning December 2nd through February 4th. Teams will practice at our indoor location at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds one night per week beginning the week of December 18th through the week of February 12th. Players will sign up individually but the intent is for current travel teams largely to stay together (based on registration numbers). The benefits of FC Richmond Futsal include: wearing your current FCR uniform - no added uniform cost; coached by licensed, travel team coaches; teams stay together through the winter to be ready for the spring season! The cost will be $375 per player before October 15th and $395 per player after October 16th. Registration opening soon!

Milestone Trip to Belgium

FC Richmond's U17 Magic and Mystx Elite teams had the opportunity to travel abroad to Belgium this summer for their Milestone trip. While in Europe the teams took in a professional soccer game, played three friendlies against clubs in Belgium and France, had training sessions with coaches from clubs in Belgium, and wonderful opportunities for sightseeing and cultural events.

FC Richmond is thrilled to announce our new FC Junior Board! Welcome back to former members Nadine Greer, Ryder Barribeau, and Patrick Forsythe. Welcome to new members Josh Siddiqi, Javi Catedral, Ben Doggett, Claire Mansfield, Alli Gregori, Charlotte Wolf, Brielle, Karjane, Alex Tully, Carson Moore, Jake Nelson, Tyler Overstreet, Evan Broughton, and Rylan Brocato! The mission of the Junior Board is to help athletes go “Beyond the Game” and reach their full potential off the field. Junior Board members serve as FC Richmond ambassadors who develop leadership skills while engaging FCR families and players in making a difference in their community.We look forward to all of the great work you will do this year!

Fun Fit Friday

On Friday, September 29th from 5:30-6:30pm the FC Richmond Junior Board invites recreational players ages 6-10 to join us for a fun afternoon of games and challenges to promote a healthy lifestyle! Non-Stop Soccer School's Out Clinics

Non-Stop Soccer School's Out Clinics are a shorter version of our full week camps built into one day. Our main emphasis will be to play games, learn new skills, and have FUN while interacting with friends and our experienced coaching staff. Take advantage of the day off from school and join us in healthy play!
