Website Annual Renewal Invoice Scam
One of our congregations received an unsolicited invoice for “annual renewal website listings” from a company called INTERNET NETWORX out of Duluth, GA. If not read carefully, you might think you are renewing your domain/website. It even threatens that the listing will be suspended if not paid by the due date. This is an offer to keep your listing in their web directory for an annual renewal of $194. Based on the complaints with the Better Business Bureau, it appears as though this company is targeting churches and other small businesses.
