The Girls STEAM Ahead with NASA program, part of NASA’s Universe of Learning, provides resources and experiences that enable youth, families, and lifelong learners to explore fundamental questions in astrophysics, experience how science is done, and discover the universe for themselves. Join NGCP for this exciting webinar to hear directly from this year’s 2023 GSAWN stipend recipients who are using these free resources and get ideas to implement in your own programs.

In celebration of #MoonDay on July 20th, we would like to highlight IF/THEN Ambassador Adele Luta. Adele's expertise in physics has allowed her to support a variety of fields such as human spaceflight, defense, and healthcare. Techbridge Girls Programming Information Session

Techbridge Girls is recruiting out-of-school time (OST) educators to participate in STEM and equity training, curriculum, resources, and ongoing support. Services equip educators with gender- and culturally-responsive teaching tools and program materials to support youth persistence in STEM and expose girls to BIPOC peers and role models from STEM fields. Visit the Programming Information Session and Application to learn more and to register for upcoming info sessions (July 13 and August 8). All OST program partners who serve Black, Indigenous, and Latina girls and gender-expansive youth are encouraged to apply.

Million Girls Moonshot Toolkit

The Million Girls Moonshot, an initiative of the STEM Next Opportunity Fund, has developed a new toolkit to help afterschool and summer programs implement strategies that are effective for engaging girls in STEM.

NASA is Seeking Proposals for the Community Anchor Awards and Full Awards.

The NASA Office of STEM Engagement is seeking proposals for this year's round of funding. The TEAMIIFULL and the TEAMIIANCHR awards were established to encourage participation in NASA's TEAM II program by learning organizations and to create a cohort of Community Anchors to partner with NGS and NASA in progressing diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in STEM. The application deadline for the Community Anchor Awards for TEAM II (TEAMIIANCHR) is August 15, 2023. Learn more.
