Concerts at the Cove Continues! | |
July is Parks and Recreation Month, a time to honor and celebrate the impact of outdoor spaces and recreational activities in our communities. With this year's theme of "Where Community Grows," we honor the dedicated Parks and Recreation staff for their invaluable role in bringing people together, providing essential services, and fostering the growth of our communities. This month is all about coming together, having a blast, and showing the world just how much fun parks and recreation can be!
In line with this spirit, the City is thrilled to continue the summer "Concerts at the Cove" series every Thursday at 6:00 PM until August 10th. Join us as we come together to embrace the summer vibes and unforgettable evening of music. The public is encouraged to arrive car-free, bring low-back beach chairs, ground covers or blankets and picnics. If you are planning to bring dinner, please remember to shop local!

The Cool Zone program offers free air-conditioned settings, like libraries and community centers, to provide relief for seniors, persons with disabilities, and those with health concerns. By utilizing Cool Zone sites, you can lower your utility usage and help conserve energy for the entire community while staying cool.
If you're unable to access Cool Zone sites, the Cool Zone Fan Program provides free electric fans to eligible individuals, ensuring everyone can beat the heat. Transportation assistance is also available for those in need. Stay cool, safe, and comfortable this summer with the County's Cool Zone program!
