We rejoice with Ethan Wilson as he publicly surrendered to God’s call to ministry this past Sunday. It is such a blessing to see how God is moving in this manner. At present we have one high school student, two college students, and one seminary student who have publicly surrendered to vocational ministry. Once again I am reminded of Henry Blackaby’s admonishment in his book, Experiencing God. He stated, “Watch to see where God is working and join Him in His work.” I long to see us set up a scholarship fund, administered by a scholarship committee, to assist these and future ministerial students in obtaining their education as they prepare for God’s call on their lives. What an exciting way that would be in joining God in this work!
This Sunday, those in the 11:00am service, along with those who worship with us via livestream, will witness something few congregations see in this day. Austin will lead off the service by baptizing as many as 15 of our students who have recently made public professions of faith. Most of those were the result of DNOW 2021. Don’t miss this exciting day!
To God be the Glory !
