Celebrate Sunday Mass at St. Alphonsus!

This Sunday Jan. 30 kicks off Catholic Schools Week. The 11 AM Mass will be a designated "Family Mass", where our parish AACA students will be involved in reading, bringing up the gifts, singing in children's choir, and more. An Ice Sculpting showcase outside the Church will follow the conclusion of Mass starting at 12:00 PM. The exhibition will also take place Saturday, Jan. 29 from 4-6 PM.

Ice Sculpting events are sponsored by our friends at Lakeview Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce. Click here for more info.

Please consider giving blood at the end of the month at St. Alphonsus! The blood drive will take place Sunday, Jan. 30 from 9 AM to 3 PM in the Festival Hall. Giving blood greatly benefits local patients and saves lives! There is a
severe blood shortage in our area. Appointments are
recommended but walk-ins are welcome. You can visit vitalant.org to make an appointment. Use the Group Code ORD00581 to bring up the drive at St. Alphonsus. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact parishioner Paul Gillespie.

Families are invited to bring their toddlers and young kids to Festival Hall (below the church) to play and spend time with other St Al's families. Please bring any toys your kids would like to play with and enter through the West door closest to the parking lot (by the Mary Altar). Saturdays 8:30 AM-10:30 AM. Please contact Monica Cloghessy for more information.

Men of the parish are invited to Communio, a men’s group that gathers each Wednesday evening from 8 – 9 PM in the Rectory to pray and chant Vespers (evening prayer), followed by a time of conversation and fellowship.

Daily prayer keeps you in good relationship with the LORD, and yourself.
