A critical bill to advance the cause of guaranteed health care for all Californians will be voted on by the Assembly in the coming days. Today or tomorrow we need you to urge your Assembly member to VOTE YES. (Or thank one of the co-authors listed below if you live in one of their districts.)

SB 770, introduced by Senators Wiener and McGuire (co-authors: Assembly members Connolly, Santiago, Schiavo, and Zbur), is a bill that would help pave the way for a “unified financed” (i.e., single payer) healthcare system in California. It was written in response to the recommendations by Governor Newsom’s Healthy California for All Commission.
