Nyack Hospital and Coloring Books!

This past week, Supervisor Kenny was pleased to have realtor Yulia "Julia" Kushnir join her in donating coloring and activity books for patients at Montefiore Nyack Hospital.

Orangetown Police Memorial

This past Wednesday, the Orangetown Police Department and Orangetown PBA held a Memorial Ceremony to mark the 50th year anniversary of the deaths of Police Officers Michael Reedy and Thomas Kennedy, who were killed when they were struck by a drunk driver while directing traffic at an accident scene. The families of the officers were surrounded by law enforcement officers, both current and retired, and heard tributes to their fallen loved ones. A memorial sign will be placed at Route 303 and Leber Road to serve as a reminder of the sacrifice these officers made.

Orangetown Police Department

The Orangetown Police remind our residents that even outside temperatures in the 80’s can produce inside vehicle temperatures that are dangerous to our most vulnerable.

Please remember to check the backseat of your car before you lock it and walk away.

Public Service Announcement

Due to limited parking at Veterans Memorial Park, the Splashpad will close at 6:30 pm on Fridays for the Summer Concert Series. The dog park will close at 7:00 pm. Thank you for understanding.

Upcoming Events

Town of Orangetown Night up in Clover (formerly Boulder) Stadium

Orangetown Night at Clover Stadium is shaping up to be a wonderful celebration of all things good in Orangetown. Orangetown baseball and softball teams who won their respective championships have been invited to march out onto the field behind the Honor Guard and to participate in the opening ceremonies. Local residents will be performing (the National Anthem will be sung by Ciara Carle at the opening and God Bless America by Danny Gurniak during the 7th inning stretch).  Want to know what else is happening that night? Buy a ticket and get over to the ballpark for a fun night of baseball and pickleball! (Yes, you read that right - Orangetown Parks and Recreation will be setting up pickleball courts inside the stadium that night.) Get your tickets here.

Mark your calendars!
