Roslyn Public Schools

SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS

July 27, 2021

Dear Roslyn Families,

I hope this communication finds you well and enjoying summer. Here in the district we are preparing for and eagerly anticipating the first day of school, scheduled for Wednesday, September 1, 2021

At this time, we await guidance from the New York State Department of Health regarding health and safety protocols and requirements for the coming school year. Once received, we will communicate again. Keep in mind that all protocols must remain subject to change to meet any issues that arise.

Moreover, once guidance is received in the weeks ahead, our building principals will elaborate on individual school plans and be available to answer questions.

We are committed to providing a healthy and safe school environment, and I ask for your continued support during this coming year as we focus on the physical, social, and emotional well-being and re-engagement of our K-12 students.

We look forward to seeing and welcoming all of our students back on campus this September!

Sincerely,

Allison Brown
