Making and nurturing disciples of Jesus Christ to serve the community and the world
PASTOR ROB'S MESSAGE
Don't Let Good Shame Go to Waste

There are a handful of emotions people would do nearly anything to not talk about. Shame is one of them. Our feelings of shame tell us we've disappointed reasonable expectations we hold for ourselves or violated our own self-chosen values.

UPCOMING WORSHIP SERVICES
Sunday Worship Service - February 20, 2022
Pastor Rob Hamilton Preaches, Even the Best Make Mistakes
David was now comfortable, too comfortable. He was without challenge. In his ease he wandered away from God. The wandering of his heart, led to wandering eyes, which lead to a rape, coverup, manslaughter and this displeased the Lord. David gets called out on this and he repents, but he still has to live with the consequences of his action and they are tragic. But even with such a hard fall from grace, God was able to still use David and history remembers him as the greatest king of all time.

The sessions will begin on February 22 at 7pm and continue for the first 30 minutes or so every regular Church Council meeting of 2022.
THANK-YOU
Once again thank you to pastors, Spirited Women and the congregation for all the prayers, cards, and phone calls during recovery from my injury. I don't know why, but I'm amazed at the kindness and thoughtfulness of our church members.
Sincerely,
Ann Erickson
Thank you for your contributions for our ASP Chocolate Covered Strawberries fundraiser! We had great youth participation within our UMCG Youth Group and our ASP volunteers that do not attend our church. It was great to see the kids bonding already and seeing who loves to cook, decorate, and clean up afterwards! We sold/made double the amount of chocolate covered strawberries as we did last year. We raised enough to pay for 2 out of 6 van rentals! Thank you again for supporting our 42 volunteers help the people of the Appalachian Mountain region to have warmer, safer, and drier homes!
