Prayer from St. Patrick's Breastplate

Christ be with me
Christ before me
Christ behind me
Christ in me
Christ beneath me
Christ above me
Christ on my right
Christ on my left
Christ where I lie
Christ where I sit
Christ where I arise
Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me
Christ in the mouth of every man who speaks of me
Christ in every eye that sees me
Christ in every ear that hears me
Salvation is of the Lord.
Auxiliary Areas Closing March 22

As we continue to see an improvement in case counts and in light of new guidance from Columbus Public Health, we are excited to have all students (those who elected in-person learning) back in the academic classrooms.

Beginning with the 3rd quarter exam week, which starts on Monday March 22, we will be eliminating our auxiliary learning areas. Our current lunch process will remain the same as will the expectation for mask wearing in accordance with state guidelines.

We are excited about this first step toward a return to normal while also realizing we must continue to be vigilant. We want to thank you for your support and thank all of the staff members who have helped cover the auxiliary areas each day to make our in-person learning possible.

Annual Eagle Fund

As we celebrate the Feast Day of Saint Patrick, we remember his conversion of Ireland to Christianity and his development of many churches and schools. Here at Bishop Watterson our school’s mission statement, “Restoring all things in Christ by educating in the Catholic tradition, through prayer, service, and study,” follows St. Patrick’s example. Help us to spread our mission by donating to the Annual Eagle Fund, which makes an immediate impact on our students.
Thank You to Mothers' Club

Many thanks to Mothers’ Club for providing box lunches to our faculty and staff last week! Thanks also go to the Auddino family for providing sandwich buns.
Mothers’ Club also raffled off a shamrock plant which was won by Ms. Amber McCoy, and Easter baskets which were won by Mrs. Julia Parks and Ms. Mary Kate Campbell.
We truly appreciate the gracious care given to us by Mothers’ Club!

Counseling Corner

Our counseling department would like to expand our list of tutors. We offer a tutoring list for students and families who request it; families then contact the tutor that they are interested in working with. Tutors are not BWHS employees and will coordinate with the family directly for scheduling and payment. We are looking for tutors in all subject areas. If you are interested, please email your name, contact information that may be released to families, and subject area(s) to Jenny Sponseller at jsponseller@cdeducation.org.
