Opening of 4-H Online 2.0

Families will be able to self-enroll using 4-H Online 2.0 starting August 16, 2021. Families are encouraged to delay re-enrollment for the 2021-2022 program year until the system is open and they can complete the online self-enrollment process.

If enrollment or re-enrollment is necessary during the interim period the system is offline, your county staff will work with you to complete the enrollment process.
Please note: any early enrollments into 4-H Online 2.0 before the official opening of the system into 4-H Online 2.0 will be deleted. All dates listed are subject to change based on our vendor and UCANR 4-H needs. Any changes will be broadly communicated by the State 4-H Office.
4-H Policy Reminder: Ch. 11, IV., C. Youth Protection Interaction with 4-H Members During 4-H Activities
When planning 4-H events and activities, the expectation is always that a minimum of 2 approved 4-H Adult Volunteers will be present. Only in the event that an appointed 4-H Adult Volunteer has had an urgent matter, and it then becomes impractical or impossible for a minimum of 2 appointed adult volunteers to be present for the 4-H event or activity, would staff then coordinate and designate another adult at least 21 years old to participate. Use of a non-appointed adult to fulfill these roles is to be done as a last resort, not the standard approach for staff when planning 4-H events and activities.

The California 4-H Statewide Equine Program exists to provide high-quality equine events where 4-H members have opportunities to apply their growing knowledge and skills of horses in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

2. Equine Event Teams

These opportunities are open to 4-H youth members, 4-H adult volunteers, 4-H program staff, and program partners, ages 14 and up.
