MESSAGE FROM FR. JEFF

Hello everybody!

It is good to be home! Although plans changed due to the collapse of my lung (I’m doing great, by the way—thanks for your thoughts and prayers!), my time away visiting family, spending some time with the Boy Scouts before and after their backpacking trek, and being on retreat was a blessing. I am grateful to Fr. Quan and all our staff for their good ministry while I was gone. While beneficial, I always appreciate coming back home to our parish family.

I want to welcome our faculty back to campus as they prepare for the new school year. As part of that preparation, they will have a faculty retreat day on Thursday. Please pray for them and for all of our students as they anticipate the first day of school on the Feast of the Assumption on August 15. Thanks.

This weekend we will have the Anointing of the Sick at all the masses and I encourage anyone in need of God’s healing presence and strength to receive this graced sacrament. God bless you!

Finally, we are need of a full time person to join our maintenance team. Please see the information below and share with anyone who may be interested. Thanks.

May God continue to guide us and draw us deeper into relationship with him.

Peace,

Fr. Jeff
