Graduation 2023

On May 11, 26 seniors graduated from ASOP at the Lodge of Ironwoods. Of our graduates, 18 plan to attend either a two-year or a four-year college. Five plan to work after graduation. Three have not yet decided what they will do next year. We wish them all the best as they continue their life journeys.

The commencement speaker, Ellen Martin, spoke about the accomplishments of our students. She met with them earlier in the year and used that meeting to find out what they were feeling about graduation and life

Ms. Martin works at Freeman Martin McKee and FineLine HR Consulting. Along with her work as an attorney, she works as a mediator, investigator, and professor at Rockhurst University and as a nonprofit board executive leader including posts at Avila University, Cristo Rey, Norte Dame de Sion, Catholic Charities, CASA and ALS.

Two students, Shay and Riley, gave speeches focusing on what they learned at ASOP and how their time here has prepared them for the future.
