Hello Friends,

       I am so glad we finally received some RAIN! However, we just went through a long dry period. You may need to water plants again after a few dry days. Additionally, your trees and shrubs need water through fall and up until the ground freezes. We are in the time of year that days can be warm, but we can get cold temperatures and frost overnight. If your houseplants and tropical plants are not yet indoors, they need to be indoors now. Treat them for insects and keep them separate from plants that stayed indoors. They may have pests or disease that you have not noticed. Also keep them in a cooler location away from heat sources as they adjust to the warm, dry indoor air. Increasing the humidity or misting may be helpful to plants that love humid air.
