Dear Parents,
Team work certainly makes the dream work! It is wonderful to work together with a great staff who does whatever it takes to make our school great and take care of our students. This week, Miss Jan and Mrs. Norton are helping in the school office, Miss Shirley is volunteering in the classroom, Sr. Joan served hot lunch and Mrs. Charapata subbed in our junior high classroom. The old saying, God will give you what you need, certainly is true.
Ms. Piatt has decided to continue on for the duration of the school year (after her vacation), and we have added Mrs. Straub, Reading Specialist (Fond du Lac School District) to our staff to team teach grade 4 and 5. Mr. McGalloway will be the substitute teacher until after Thanksgiving, while Ms. Piatt is on vacation. He comes to us with over 25 years of experience from the Lomira School District and St. Mary Springs. During these challenging times of hiring teachers, we have surely landed in a great place. We have been blessed with these experts in education and welcome them to our staff. Thank you all for giving 110% and stepping up wherever needed.
We have raised just over $2,000.00 dollars this week, in donations alone, for our daycare/school project. Thank you for spreading the word. Please keep selling those pizzas from Luige's. They are easy to sell and are minimal work compared to making pizzas with a large volunteer commitment. We want to make fundraising as easy as possible for parents, so please sell as many as you can.
We are hoping to fill the parking lot for Trunk or Treat again this year. This is a great way to have your kids Trick or Treat safely with friends and family. Start planning your trunk decor now and win the best decorated car. DJ Rob Petersen will be joining us again this year so we can dance and have fun together! Mark your calendars so you don't miss this! All school and daycare families are invited to participate! Please sign up via the sign up link below. Please make sure to send warm clothes with your kids. We go outside everyday unless it is raining.
