Episcopal Church of Cuba Navigates Leadership Transition

Puerto Rico Bishop Rafael Morales Maldonado, after serving for more than three months as provisional bishop of the Episcopal Church of Cuba, has identified several initial priorities, including increasing the number of clergy and rebuilding church properties that are in disrepair. Morales was installed as provisional bishop of Cuba on June 24, replacing the Rt. Rev. Griselda Delgado del Carpio, who retired in March after having served as the diocese’s bishop since 2010.

Creative Ways of Being Church

Join the Episcopal Parish Network for a digital discussion on ways to freshen up church leadership strategies. It is no secret that the world is in the midst of significant change. Often we hear that churches should “get more creative,” and also “adapt to the local context.” For this discussion, we will hear some stories from both the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma and the Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina, and how what they’ve seen and learned can be applied to the wider church.
