These priorities were shaped with lots of input from many different stakeholders, but it's important to me to continue asking for input on an ongoing basis and to provide easy avenues for people to share ideas.
CYF training department helps caseworkers engage fathers
Two members of the training department in the Office of Children, Youth and Families (CYF) have started an initiative that is working hard to put father engagement on the radar.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Grable Foundation, Allegheny County’s Family Support Network and the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh have spent much of the last year reimagining the traditional ways that families connect and building community through “making.”
Child Welfare Leadership Fellows work to improve outcomes for CYF-served teens
On Tuesday, July 20, five teams of Child Welfare Leadership Fellows gathered at the Office of Children, Youth and Families’ (CYF) Mon Valley Regional Office to present the final phase of their project work focused on the challenge of providing stability for Allegheny County’s CYF-served teenagers.
