This Sunday!
Welcome Kip Kipp

We are excited to welcome Kip Kipp back this Sunday. Kip was born in Baltimore and educated at the University of Delaware (BA Psychology and Communications) and Fuller Theological Seminary (MDiv). A twenty-six year resident of Newport Beach, Kip and Kathy have four children. They have been active members of Corona del Mar Community Church, Congregational UCC for twenty-six years. Kathy is the Minister of Youth and Family at the church, joining the staff in 2011, following her call into Ministry. Kip has held a variety of board and committee leadership positions and served as Moderator for five years.

In discussing some foundational principles that guide Kip’s ministry orientation, he states: “For many years, one of the central tenants of the Protestant faith: ‘The Priesthood of All Believers,’ has been part of my “faith DNA” and with that comes a deep desire to facilitate and nurture environments for each of us to live into God’s calling for our lives individually and collectively as faithful communities. Through this belief, I know I have been in ministry for a long time, but the call to vocational ministry led to becoming a full-time seminary student a few years ago and to the ‘Member in Discernment’ process in the UCC which will lead to ordination in the United Church of Christ in the near future.”

Kip will be preaching on “A Moveable Peace” from
I Corinthians 12:12-26.
