Davis Elementary Shares The Love On Valentines Day
Our Yellow Jackets partnered with the Trenton - Dade Optimist Club and Alliance for Dade to create Valentine cards for nursing home residents. Thanks for sharing the LOVE 4th and 5th graders!
Parent Workshop Tomorrow At Davis Elementary
Davis Elementary will be hosting a parent workshop on Tuesday, February 15th, from 5:30PM to 6:30PM. The topics will include: Dealing With Defiant Behaviors and Resources and Strategies For Parents That Have Students With Disabilities. The guest speakers will include: Dr. Martha Plumlee, DES Teacher and Mrs. Karyn Leggett, DCS School Psychologist. DES Virtual STEM Night This Thursday
Dade Elementary School will be hosting a virtual STEM night on Thursday, February 17th. Each grade level will have a challenge for parents and students to try at home. DCHS Girls Basketball Team Greets Students At DES
Coach Regena Logan and the DCHS Girls Basketball Team visited Dade Elementary School last week to open car doors and greet students during morning drop-off. DES Principal Ms. Tracy Blevins says "I am very thankful that the DCHS Girls Basketball Team participated in this wonderful community service project."
DMS Students Participate In PBIS Event
These Dade Middle School students participated in their PBIS Sock Hop event on Friday. Principal Michelle Beeler stated that she "encourages students to stay on top of their schoolwork and continue demonstrating great behavior at Dade Middle School." The next PBIS event at Dade Middle School is scheduled for March 18, 2022.
DCHS Students Perform In District 7 Honor Band
Congratulations to these Wolverines! They performed in the GMEA District 7 Honor Band over the weekend. Students from 15 counties audition to be a part of this process. We are so proud of them! Pictured left to right are Trent Dunn; Makaela Chance; Landon Ramirez; and Anthony Hanson.
DCHS Has 4 State Champion Wrestlers
The DCHS Wrestling Team traveled to Macon, GA, and competed in the GHSA traditional state tournament over the weekend. DCHS had four wrestlers to advance to the finals and ALL four wrestlers finished as a GHSA State Champion. Congratulations to Heidi Raines; Landon Williams; Cody Williams; and Austin Sorrelle.
