Savannah, GA, February 14, 2022 - Live Oak Public Libraries Bull Street Library location will be temporarily closed for building renovations starting on Saturday, February 19, 2022 and is expected to reopen with limited services on Monday, February 28, 2022.
Bull Street Library patrons will not be charged for overdue fines accrued during the closure. Patrons can keep materials until the library reopens or drop them off at another library location.
Items on hold will be available for pick-up at Bull Street Library until Friday, February 18 at 6:00 PM. To request a different library for holds pickup during the closure, please contact any Live Oak Public Libraries location.
The Bull Street Library renovation project is expected to run from February through May 2022. Upgrades will include new interior finishes as well as a revised layout of spaces in some areas. This work will require a temporary closure of the building for painting in public spaces. After reopening, there will be partial closures of some spaces and some impact to services as carpet and flooring are replaced throughout the building.
We appreciate the community’s patience with this improvement project as we work towards providing more welcoming spaces and a better customer experience for library visitors.
All other Live Oak Public Libraries locations are open with regular hours, and eLibrary digital resources are available online anytime 24/7.
