Global Access Program Webinar with the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce

Attention Schuylkill County businesses! Join us as we discuss the Global Access Program (GAP). GAP is designed to enhance the capability of small to mid-sized Pennsylvania companies to increase export sales. GAP is administered by the Pennsylvania Office of International Business Development (OIBD) and provides up to $10,000 per award period to qualifying Pennsylvania companies to reimburse up to 75% of eligible expenses associated with specific export promotion activities. The program is funded in part through a grant with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

PA's Office of International Business Development and the PA Authorized Trade Representative in Korea can help you meet your business objectives by designing a virtual meeting itinerary tailored to your company’s specific needs.

As a mission participant you will receive:
  • Market research
  • Prearranged one-on-one online business appointments with prequalified business partners based on your criteria.
  • Detailed background information about each company provided in advance.
  • Services of the commonwealth’s trade representative in Seoul
  • Follow-up assistance after the mission

Registration Deadline: March 19
Registration Fee: $3,500 per company

Financial Assistance of up to $10,000 may be available to qualifying companies to offset mission-related costs through the PA Global Access Program.

Virtual Trade Mission to Africa
May 2021

PA OIBD and the Eastern Trade Council (ETC) are partnering on a multi-sector Virtual Trade Mission to Africa, scheduled for May 2020.

In preparation for the mission, the state is hosting an information session – Doing Business in Africa – on March 18 at 10:00 am. The session will be presented by Richard Zurba, Director of Zurcom International (Pty) Ltd, the organizer of the trade mission.

The information session will include an overview of the economics and demographics that drive growth across Africa, highlights of the wide-range of business opportunities for U.S. companies across industry sectors, and preliminary plans for the mission.
