IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Did you see last week’s members-only Bulletin? Virginia House Speaker-Designee Todd Gilbert laid out his priorities for the upcoming General Assembly session. It’s the first time the Republican party has had control of the body since 2019, and Speaker-Designee Gilbert said business issues will be front-and-center. “As Speaker-Designee, I am excited about the opportunity to work in a bi-partisan fashion with my colleagues in the General Assembly and Governor-elect Youngkin to advance an agenda which keeps Virginia a welcoming state for both families and businesses and addresses key issues which diminish Virginia’s true status as a top state to do business. To that end, the core of our focus this session will be issues that impact the day-to-day lives of Virginia families and the operation of businesses.”

Be sure you get the Bulletin – upcoming issues will have Q&As with a number of freshman Delegates as we close in on the 2022 session of the Virginia General Assembly.
Send us your goodwill stories by December 10th and we'll tell the world this December!
Calling all members! Has your business recently participated in a food drive? Has your team volunteered for a non-profit work day? Are you preparing meals or goods for donation to those in need this holiday season? We want to bring a little holiday spirit to the world by sharing our members' positive news stories!

Now through December 10th, we'll be collecting member goodwill stories for our upcoming Positively NOVA, Holiday Edition publication. Your business's good work will be featured--individually!--on our NOVA Member Connector website and on the Chamber's social channels. All we'll need from you is a short blurb about your good work (1-3 paragraphs), a photo (or photos!) from the effort, and your logo.

For inclusion in this year's Positively NOVA, Holiday Edition, email your information by December 10th to communications@novachamber.org.
