Please help us welcome our winter intern and the newest bilingual member on our team: Mya. We are very excited to have Mya with us!

"My name is Mya Veen, and I am so excited to join the Migrant Legal Aid team as an intern for the spring of 2021! I am originally from Kalamazoo, MI, and I am a junior at Calvin University studying Spanish and Political Science with a Pre-Law designation. At Calvin, I am involved in the Gospel Choir and the Political Dialogue and Action Club, and I enjoy watching Korean dramas in my free time. I am looking forward to how my experience with Migrant Legal Aid will combine my Spanish language skills with my Political Science degree and my passion for social justice work".
